DOUBLE IT

A number-merging arcade puzzle where the numbers are alive: liquid bodies that stretch, bridge and fuse on an orbital ring. Easy to learn, endless to master — free, in your browser, no install.

Web · Android (closed testing — Google Play release coming soon)

DOUBLE IT gameplay: liquid orbs merging on the orbital ring The ECLIPSE constellation: three stored powers about to fuse into an Ultimate A supreme 8192 orb born from a black hole collapse

How to play

  1. Aim and release. Your next number waits at the center. Tap a gap on the ring — or drag to slingshot — to place it.
  2. Matching neighbours merge and double: 2 and 2 become 4, 4 and 4 become 8, onward past 8192 into compact cosmic notation.
  3. Chains are the real game. A merge that lands beside its own kind merges again — deep chains score exponentially and charge your power core.
  4. Operators change the rules. In Classic, equal neighbours wait for a + to ignite them, a halves your biggest number when the ring gets crowded, and a rare T transposes any number to a new gap.
  5. Don't fill the ring. When no gap remains, the run ends. Keep it breathing.

Four modes

ModeIdentity
ZENPure merging — no operators, no clock. The meditative core loop, and the place to learn the liquid.
CLASSICMathematical operators enter the deal. Equals need a spark; chains are built, not found.
TIME ATTACKRace the clock — every merge buys time, deep chains buy more. Survival is the score.
ECLIPSEThe endgame. All five powers in play, and a constellation that fuses three stored powers into one of seventeen discoverable Ultimates.

The powers

Play charges a core; a charged core offers a choice of mathematical constants. φ reorders the ring into golden harmony. π gathers scattered kin. e supercharges your next merge. Σ sweeps every matching pair at once. multiplies your next result. In ECLIPSE mode you may store a power instead of using it — three stored powers fuse into an Ultimate whose identity depends on the recipe. Finding all seventeen is its own quest, and the rarest event in the game collapses the whole board into a single supreme number.

Made to run anywhere

DOUBLE IT renders its liquid with a single WebGL2 shader pass and classifies your device into one of five performance tiers — from entry-level phones to flagships — so every player gets the best version their hardware can honestly hold. Curious how? The devlog covers the renderer, the device-adaptive graphics and the black hole in depth.
